Allen Middleman

Executive Director, Freedom Mortgage

Allen Middleman, Executive Director at Freedom Mortgage. He serves as the corporate sponsor for the Wholesale Division focusing on strategic planning and execution of key initiatives to ensure the health and growth of the Freedom Mortgage Wholesale Division.

  Mr. Middleman has an extensive background in the mortgage industry from origination, operations and servicing to title, appraisal and various other aspects of the business. His history, experiences, connections and vision uniquely position him to offer keen perspectives and leadership.

  Currently, Mr. Middleman chairs the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) Wholesale Lenders Board and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) Corporate Board of Governors. He also serves on the of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America (NAMMBA’s) Corporate Board of Governors.

  Mr. Middleman’s extensive involvement have established him as a respected figure in the mortgage industry. Through his work and advocacy, he continues to support the growth and success of mortgage brokers, reinforcing their crucial role in the industry and in helping Americans achieve homeownership.

Deborah Robertson, known as DCR, is the Divisional Manager of Wholesale Production for Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc. where she is responsible for the East Coast sales team. With over 30 years of experience in mortgage banking, DCR has led both operations and sales in retail and wholesale. Her journey in the business world has been marked by achievements and a passion for excellence. A Select Circle winner for 12 consecutive years at Plaza Home Mortgage as a top Regional Vice President, and previously a President’s club winner for 9 consecutive years at both Washington Mutual and Long Beach Mortgage.

DCR has been honored with several awards for her commitment to excellence, including Affiliate of the Year and Wholesaler of the Year from the New York Association of Mortgage Brokers (NYAMB) and Next Gen Powerhouse Women’s award. DCR is part of several groups including the Women’s MBA-NJ, FAMP Rise and High Heels in High Places.

DCR holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, is a licensed mortgage loan originator in several states and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. An outdoor enthusiast DCR loves running, biking, hiking and living a healthy lifestyle. She balances her career with family life…Married for 27 years, proud mother of three adult children and has a dog.
