Banking and Securities Department Announces Quarterly Report on Enforcement Orders

Harrisburg, PA – The Department of Banking and Securities issued 10 enforcement orders during the first quarter of 2018. Fines and assessments for these orders totaled $138,500, including:

Four Consent Agreement and Orders, including a 10-year debarment, and one order issued for violations of the Pennsylvania Securities Act of 1972;

One Consent Agreement and Order issued for violations of the Consumer Credit Code;

Two Orders issued for violations of the Mortgage Licensing Act;

One Consent Agreement and Order issued for violations of the Mortgage Licensing Act and the Loan Interest and Protection Law; and

One Consent Agreement for violations of the Debt Settlement Services Act;
